> Use the live tool schema and respect company membership. Ask the person to authorize the exact fiscal document version in the signed-in app. A professional prepares and files included returns after authorization; AI does not file alone. A prepared file or approval receipt is not evidence of filing. Never claim completion from an accepted Task or Run. Keep credentials out of chat and logs. Agents features are internal or by private invitation.

# Rate limits

> Handle company-key and Run limits without duplicating work.

<Info>Melso Agents is available only internally or by private invitation. Agents-specific features require existing access. For the autónomo fiscal service, see [Get started](/essentials/quickstart).</Info>

Company API keys have a default limit of **600 requests per minute**. A limited request returns `429`; use the `Retry-After` header when present. The configured limit can differ, so response headers and errors take precedence over a fixed client timer.

Run credentials also have an execution guard: a Run can start, resume, rerun or message other Tasks at most **30 times per hour**, within its company and permissions. An isolated Task’s Run remains confined to that Task.

These are distinct limits. Do not treat the company-key limit as a promise for every credential or endpoint.

Use bounded retries with jitter for safe reads. For writes, preserve the [supported idempotency field](/api-reference/idempotency), and inspect state after an uncertain response. Prefer [webhooks](/api-reference/webhooks) or the [Task stream](/concepts/task-stream) to frequent polling.
