429; use the Retry-After header when present. The configured limit can differ, so response headers and errors take precedence over a fixed client timer.
Run credentials also have an execution guard: a Run can start, resume, rerun or message other Tasks at most 30 times per hour, within its company and permissions. An isolated Task’s Run remains confined to that Task.
These are distinct limits. Do not treat the company-key limit as a promise for every credential or endpoint.
Use bounded retries with jitter for safe reads. For writes, preserve the supported idempotency field, and inspect state after an uncertain response. Prefer webhooks or the Task stream to frequent polling.
