Add Melso to your Cursor MCP configuration. For a project-specific connection, use .cursor/mcp.json; use Cursor’s settings for a personal connection.
Open Cursor’s MCP tools settings and authenticate Melso. The OAuth screen asks you to sign in and choose the company for this connection. Start with: “Read my Melso company context without changing anything.” The client calls workspace_status with {"include":["company"]}, as in Try a first read. include is optional; this value limits the read to company context. After checking the result, you can ask Cursor to list the Tasks you can access. If the tool catalog is empty, check the connection status, company membership and the capabilities available to your account. Keep credentials out of the configuration file. Melso personal tokens and REST company keys are not substitutes for the MCP OAuth flow. See Cursor’s MCP configuration guide for configuration locations and remote authentication.
